The Dalhousie Law Alumni Association (DLAA) is an incorporated non-profit society that operates across Canada and the World to provide support and resources to the Schulich School of Law by maintaining close ties and relationships between our alumni and the law school.
The society is governed by a national Board of Directors that sits in Halifax. We also have DLAA Branches in every Province and Territory across Canada. The DLAA operates pursuant to our Memorandum of Association and By-Law.
All graduates of the Schulich School of Law are active members of the DLAA. Furthermore, all present and former members of the faculty of the Schulich School of Law who are not active members are associate members of the society.
The Board of Directors of the society may also invite any person to become an honorary member of the society whether or not that person is a graduate of the Schulich School of Law.
