The Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University has its own in-house
Career Development Office which works with students and law firms all over the country. The office assists in drafting resumes, finding articling positions and summer jobs, and following up with assistance directed toward permanent employment for our law graduates.
The Law Alumni Association holds receptions each year in centres all over the country which coincide with students' articling interviews. These receptions introduce students to alumni lawyers practising where the students will be working.
Our graduates are placed all over Canada, from big city firms, to small rural practices. As well, they teach, lecture to the public on topical legal themes, take up administrative and government work, and go into politics.
