Certificate courses

For the purposes of any Dalhousie Law School Certificate program [including MELP, Business Law and Health Law], only those courses pursued at Dalhousie Law School during a student's LL.B. studies which lead to successful completion of a Dalhousie University LL.B. degree will be recognized.

Advancement

Every full-time student must pass every subject, either by regular, special, or supplemental examination before advancing to the next year of study.

Competitive moot rules

The following motion was passed at the December 8, 2000 Faculty Council meeting:

A student enrolled in the LL.B. program at Dalhousie Law School may not enroll in more than one competitive moot or trial advocacy competition for which credit is awarded as part of his or her program of study.
