As of August 31, 2005, the maximum amount which can be loaned out through the Newfoundland Labrador Provincial Student Loan Program is: $140 per week of study.
If the study period is taken as being 34 weeks, then the maximum amount which a student may borrow from the Newfoundland Labrador program, for any one year, is $4760
If a Canada Student Loan is also applied for (which has a maximum pay-out of $210 per week of study -- or $7140 -- , then the total maximum amount that may be loaned out is $11,900
