Biography:

Assistant Professor of Law, Dalhousie University, since 2004; Assistant Professor (Cross-Appointed), School of Health Administration, since 2010; Acting Associate Director, Education and Research, Health Law Institute (2006-2007); and Kermesse Scholar of the IWK Auxiliary, Health Law Institute (2003-09).  Advisor to the CEO, Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission (2003).  Appeal Commissioner, Nova Scotia Workers’ Compensation Appeals Tribunal (1998-2003).  College of Nurses of Ontario: various positions including Team Leader, Hearings Program (1995-1998).  Articled student, Gowlings (Toronto Office) (1993-1994).
